Fabry Perot Interferometer Assemblies

The assembly is produced from special steel Vacodil 36 D (α = 1.3*10^-6/K) or brass  (α = 18*10^-6/K).
It is designed for the support and parallel adjustment of interferometer plates. The plate pair with spacer is adjusted for parallelism by means of 3 set screws (3 x 120°) which each apply their force onto the spacer contact points with the aid of a coil spring and a lever.
The axis of the interferometer can be tilted horizontally and vertically by about 10° for adjustment in the path of the light.
The standard model accommodates fixed plate separations spacers contact points with the aid of a coil spring and a lever.

The standard model accommodates fixed plate separations (spacers) up to 40 mm in length.
